So my son dropped out of A Levels because he hated them. he completed a level 2 diploma in Electrical Installations and was hoping to start an apprenticeship in Electrical Installations in September.
As he finished the course last year we were told he missed out on the apprenticeships deadlines and would have to wait until 2025 to apply. We have waited and these seem few and far between. I have just spoken to a college who said we will be lucky to find any Electrical Installations apprenticeships in London (where we are based) and this seems to be backed up by our constant searching with no luck.
Is anybody else child in the same situation? can anyone offer advice. I would be really grateful.
