St Agathas is Catholic if that makes a difference

Nushi21 · 02/04/2025 15:35

I’m sure Fern Hill is a feeder school the for Kingston Academy.

I don't think The Kingston Academy has feeders. St Agatha's is a feeder for the boys school Richard Challoner if you are catholic.

They both have very good SATs results

I have experience of Fern Hill, it is a good School, but it’s not the friendliest. I moved one of my children from there to go to Meadlands primary and never looked back. That was 15 years ago and each of my four children has been there at some point in their school life. We have been to over 20 schools but never found the warmth, community spirit and all round caring environment of Meadlands anywhere else. Every single adult knows every single child and all about them, the emphasis is on the children’s well-being and happiness, some schools focus on Ofsted results to the detriment of the kids’ well-being. Confident happy children always do well. I can’t speak highly enough about the place having had an anxious child who struggled everywhere else but just came to life within 10 minutes of walking through the doors of Meadlands. I recommend that anybody who’s looking for a primary school in the area just go and check it out.
