We are contemplating a move to Bath for various reasons. We have older teens ( both board) and a 9 year old. This weekend we drove around to get a feel of areas we like and how everything could work logistically. Having visited bath more times than I can remember as a “ day tripper” it really felt different thinking about housing and how I’d navigate crazy traffic! Younger child currently does lots of activities after school that generally start at 5 pm which is great. My first question (s) is for those who live in Bath and how you navigate the traffic and where do you go for the majority of after school activities? Child currently plays tennis, does dance ( Sat mornings) , swimming lessons and gymnastics. Currently doesn’t want give anything up but soon swimming will stop once a decent safely level has been reached. Are most activities centrally located or will I find myself all over town? I’m used to walking, driving a bit but nothing is more than around 20 mins . Housing too! Husband & teens would like to live as centrally as possible . Teens have quite a bit of freedom at the moment due to being able to walk to everything then need or have a very short bus ride . Both also have jobs in the holidays/ weekends. Would they find it really tricky in Bath due to the student population already taking casual jobs?

Thanks for all your advice!
