Recommendations for a flashcard maker for A Level revision (not Quizlet)

I'm looking for one that allows information to be uploaded from documents written in college (word docs), and then generates flash cards on a particular topic using AI. They don't need to be printable, but I want them to be private. I can see Quizlet public cards on the same subject, which are pretty basic. (and I think checking your work before starting the revision helps the learning process) We could use Quizlet, but I'm wondering what else exists. Happy to pay for the site, it doesn't need to be free.

There is a flashcard feature available on ALevels.ai site. It is linked to the specification so really useful. Mainly A Level STEM subjects though. The interactive note making feature is really effective. Similar site to UpLearn etc with the free trail.

My son is using the "Study Smarter" flashcards. The subscription isn't cheap but he says it's very good. He has created flashcards for all of his content notes and uses the flashcards daily.
