Dd has come home from with a red foot shaped badge. Any ideas what it might be?

dd came yesterday with a badge pinned to her jumper. Its a red foot with a heart in it. She says its cos daddy took her to school in her cart yesterday but am sure its not that. anyone got any ideas what it might be? I told dp to ask today but am betting he wont. School havent mentioned what it is (but then shes in the nursery class and they tend to get forgotten on these things)

It's not 'walk to school week' is it?

School do this here sometimes and dc get foot stickers on a card for the week, but we are usually told its going on.

Yes , they get them for walking to school - they are given a little card that they get stamped every time they walk some/all of the way to school. If they walk four or more times in a month, the card comes home for you to sign and the child is given a badge, They are often themed - eg in October it's a spooky foot for Halloween.
