Surrey to Midlands

Hi all,

We are moving from Surrey to the Midlands and currently on the hunt for good prep and senior schools. My oldest will be joining year 7 in Sep. We have looked at Loughborough Grammar and the prep school there so far which we liked but didnt get the impression it was that sporty? We have two sporty academic boys and my youngest is only 5 so who knows but i'm not sure he is as academic as the other two. Would love some personal experiences and advice on where is good to go. Also some good football teams - my middle boy currently plays for various academies so would love to keep up his football.

Hello, no experience of private schools, however just wanted to suggest looking into Ratcliffe college which is between Leicester city and Loughborough they have various sport facilities and regularly host cross country country events for non state schools etc. It is for 3-18 year olds and has boarding. Hope that helps?
