We're thinking of moving from Wakefield to beverley but not sure if will be the right decision. Does anyone from around beverley can give some insight please? Also schools in beverley too.

I’ve lived in Wakefield growing up as a child and Beverly worked at salt end for a couple of years.

In Wakefield your better connected to the m1 / m62 Leeds etc. Suppose it depends the reasons for moving to Beverly. Whether you’re travelling with work / seeing family.

Soon as you live in Beverly you seem out on the sticks and harder to get back to the m62 /m1 and the Humber bridge etc

Beverly always had very grey weather or rain. Minimal blue skies and sun. That’s one thing we really noticed.

Depends on the age of your children but you also have greenhead Huddersfield which used to be an excellent school for a levels very close to wakey that’s where I went but it’s prob changed. Also the grammars to get into around wakey …..

If you’re making a permanent change and you are happy to live in a bubble in hull that’s great. What about York which would be even better and better connected to motorway links
