Salisbury Private Schools - Leehurst Swan anyone?

We're moving to the area and looking at private schools, specifically Leehurst and Chafyn. Does anyone have any experience of either? DS is currently in Y2, and we're considering for next year. Chafyn seems like the sporty school, whereas Leehurst slightly more nurturing, which I think would be a better environment for him.

Keen to hear from anyone who has experience at either school though.

Chafyn is lovely. No experience of Leehurst Swan - aren't they merging though?

I know they’ve had several heads over the last few years and mixed classes due to low numbers but I fear that’s the case in most Salisbury independents now.

FYI Leehurst have just failed their inspection on safeguarding and leadership.

@Superhotwheels It is a tough time at the moment in the independent sector thanks to the introduction of VAT. Whichever school you choose, I would strongly recommend looking at the pupil numbers on the gov.uk website first. Some independent schools have less than 50% pupil capacity, read into that what you will................
