DfE school rebuilding programme - any action in your area?

The secondary school local to me is on the DfE Schools Rebuilding Programme in the first wave (I think) but nothing much seems to be happening. I've got concerns about the plans, but only had vague answers from the school (because, I think, it's the DfE commissioning it rather than the academy trust - so the local people don't really know and don't really have the power to do anything about it). I had a poke around this morning, and all I could find was this story from the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0e1zlpxvw7o

Does anyone know of any schools where building is actually happening, or planning applications are being put in?

In case anyone's interested, this piece is quite helpful at explaining the programme from the builders' perspective: https://www.building.co.uk/building-the-future-commission/how-do-we-fix-englands-crumbling-school-estate/5123955.article

There’s 3 schools been/being built in my area, and another waiting for the go ahead. It’s strange to see them building a whole new school on the playing fields.

Yes; my children’s school.

There's a large primary being built just outside my town. I believe it was a condition of the new housing development there.

Thanks team. From the lack of school rebuilding programme in my area, I was starting to wonder if any of it was going ahead at all! So must be delayed in my area (because reasons?). So more letter-writing ahead for me... hopefully the plans can be made better/more clear before the planning application goes in.
