My daughter started middle school this September. Really proud with how she has settled, had a parents evening and no issues etc. History of always getting on with her work etc. The school uses the Epraise system where the teachers give points which the children can save to buy rewards. The system also allows you to see where your child is ranked according to points. I have been watching over the half term and my daughter is basically getting lower and lower down the ranking to the point where she must be near the bottom.
I don't want to be "that parent" that demands her child should be getting multiple points. However, I know she is a good girl and not one to cause trouble and this ranking seems unreasonable. I know she is generally an "under the radar" student so I am wondering if this is what she is lacking points. Do you think it would be unreasonable to contact the school after half term and check if there are any issues or anything she needs to be doing to be allocated more points?
