Hi!

We are applying for Heathfield and St George's 11+ entry for our daughter in September 25, I'm really keen to hear recent parent experience of both please?

Many thanks!

If you are boarding you need to ask MN to move to the boarding school section

No advice, sorry, but we will be looking at both for a day place 2026. Keen to read recent experiences and comparisons too.

I don’t have any experience but just thought I’d add to the thread to say we’re also applying for a day place for Sept 2025.

Are you local? We’d be using the minibus service back to London. The school has gained a bit of traction at our prep - despite the distance - I was very taken with Mrs Hewer but of course she’s leaving. My DD is very keen and likes the flexi boarding idea for the odd sleepover.

Also, you might get more responses if you ask for this to be moved to the secondary education board rather than general education.

Hopeful bump again

I don't really have anything to add as found this looking for opinions. My daughter has been offered a place for year 7 at St George's and deciding between there and a very good local state school.

@sunflowerblooms can you share what you decided in the end?

We have gone with Heathfield, very happy with the new Head that has been appointed.
