Chwerwll or Bartholomew Oxtord

Hello.
We're trying to decide on Cherwell or Bartholomew for our child. We'll be moving to either Jericho or Eynsham. My child will start in year 7 and is a cheerful, enthusiastic type who's pretty academic but not hugely academically self-motivated. Space to play sports and a community
around them are the most important factors for us. We'd really like them to be able to have friends to hang out with after school and be somewhere where they feel safe and valued. Please give me your thoughts. Any above is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I assume you don't mean starting in 2025.
If you can afford Jericho then move there!

Do you want to live in a city or a town?
I would say Cherwell better for music. Both schools have a good reputation.

The travel time from Jericho to Cherwell much more do-able. Both excellent schools. Check entrance requirements for both as not sure you would be in catchment. If you’re living in Oxford much easier to be at Cherwell for your child.
