MTP vs Habs boys

Hi,
My son has an assessment at Habs boys and MTP for 4+. After both open days we are looking to go with MTP but some of the parents I know at Habs vouch how excellent Habs is compared to MTP. I don’t know many parents from MTP therefore, I would very much appreciate if you can share your experience please. The assessment is scheduled for next week!

Which school is MTP?

Is this somewhere in London? Can you be more specific? Some of us live outside the M25..

Well Habs is more academic than MTS, it's usually in or around the top 10 of independent schools by results whereas MTS is usually in the low 20s/early 30s, so that could be why some parents prefer it. MTS is a much older school and a member of the original Clarendon House schools so arguably has more cachet. MTS has also always had a reputation for being slightly less focused wholly on results and is good at accommodating more 'quirky' characters.

So swings and roundabouts, depends what your primary focus is.
