Alleyn Court vs St Michael’s School (Southend area)

We are looking to send our children to either Alleyn Court in Wakering or St Michael’s school in Leigh. We have seen the schools and both were pleasing though quite different. We want a happy, nurturing environment for our children.

Any recent personal positive or negative experiences for either/both schools would be very much appreciated!

Hi @tp178,did you make a decision? How old are your little ones as we’re considering a move too.

Yes we chose St Michael’s in the end as we felt it suited our little one well and there are no regrets, she loves going into school and is very happy there. There is a lovely community feel there

@Tp178thank you. How many classes does each year group have ? I’m a bit worried about super small schools that only have one class per year group. Have you had much experience of this?
