My son is 9 and I've purchased some CAT test books with the types of questions he’ll get. He’ll need a certain score to get to the secondary he want a to go to.
The point of this post is, he’s having difficulty making sense or understanding the questions / instructions. But once they've been explained verbally to him, he gets what he needs to quickly and he's actually doing very well on the actual tests. There seems to be a pattern / theme to how the questions are asked, so I'm hoping with enough practice he’ll get more used to it. But is there anything else I can do to help him understand the instructions better?
