Hi, looking for my toddler first nursery what should I look for? Lookout for? I’m a first time mum.

Visit a few, look at how the staff interact with the kids. Look at what space the kids have and the outdoor space.

Questions to ask-

How often do children play outside
Meals/snacks
Nappy changes- how often
How do they support toilet training
How do they manage behaviour
Who provides food, nappy's etc
Nap times
How does nursery communicate with parents
How do they track development
How do they liaise with schools for transition
Will your child have a key worker
What's my child's day going to look like
