My ds got a 6 in cc after consistently getting 9's. Other humanity or essays based subjects were all grade 9.
I have got the paper back and he got almost full marks on the first paper. All the questions had a green tick and they added up to the mark awarded.
On the second paper some questions didn't have a tick but full marks were awarded but for other questions less marks were awarded than the number of ticks. In total, its around a difference of 12 marks.
I am waiting to hear back from his teacher but initialfeedback we have had is that the grade boundaries are high as most kids do well.
He is actually quite near the grade boundary to go down to a 5 so am worried about putting back in but looking around the ticks, it seems possible that marks have not been counted.
Any advice gratefully recieved.
