10+ Entry to London prep schools?

Does anyone know of any academic London prep schools that accept boys into Year 6, so 10+, please?

I think you’d just be relying on an occasional place being available, which isn’t that unlikely tbh as some families move before the 11/13+. I would contact the schools you’re interested in and ask to be put on their waiting lists. I know a boy who got an occasional place at Wetherby Prep for Y6, so it’s definitely possible.

@LondonPrepMama , if there is space your dc will go through a thorough assessment process because the prep schools won't want to take on a dc at this late stage that may not be working at the pace they would expect. If you want to take part in the autumn / spring secondary assessment process you might do better to have a decent tutor and if applying from a state school this will be taken into account by the secondary schools. For example for Kings Wimbledon 11plus the entry point is targeted at the state school applicants.

I have grandchildren at EHTM, which is part of the Dukes group.
They operate several preps in the London area.
Ideally with one call maybe they can tell you which prep has openings.

Also for senior schools, both Emanuel and City (and maybe a few others) have 10+ entry. I had thought City had done away with its 10+ with the establishment of the new City Junior School, but it’s still on their website with current dates so perhaps it still takes a few:
