The ballot for striking had come along.
Does anyone know; would the pay increase come from the government or school budget?

Ballot for a strike, means there may or maybe not be strike and that may or may not result in a pay rise. None one knows the answer to this question because it hasn’t happened yet.

Even the woeful employer offer isn’t fully funded so what the unions are prepared to strike for has no chance of being.

This is my concern. If it's from the budget I'd rather pass
