Hi, has anyone had GCSEs remarked and what was the outcome? Or A levels? Our DD actually went down from her mocks by a couple of grades despite revising hard so thought it was worth a try. She's not close to the lower border so unlikely to go down. Thanks

But the head of English reviewed the paper first and just said 2 of the questions was faulty marked and the other a bit harsh. Nothing about missed question. Thought he might go up to a 6 if he was lucky

The marking on Lit has been shocking this year. It's just has likely to have come from awful marking than from a missed question.

My dc had 2 subjects at A level reviewed and both went up a grade! Thankfully it didn’t make a difference to their uni offer but it certainly could have and I can’t believe that so many people I know have had similar experiences. Seems so unfair as there will be lots of pupils close to boundary and they deserve the right grade in the first place! 🤦🏻‍♀️
