Hello, wondering if anyone has any experience of this school? My daughter is starting year 10 next month, is autistic but highly academic and is struggling with mainstream school. She is aiming for 8/9’s at GCSE. We only just came across this school and have a lot of thinking to do before applying to start in September. Any advice or experience out there?! Thank you!

Does she have an EHCP, OP?

Hi @TheSquareMile, thank you for your reply. No she doesn’t have an EHCP. I should have pursued an EHCP a couple of years ago but for various reasons I didn’t. My DD is keen to get on with studying but has lost any reserve for coping with school. Her school was resistant to moving forward with an EHCP previously and we have ran out of energy. We hope to do online school for GCSE whilst she recovers and develops new skills etc. Then aim to join a school or college for A-Levels.
As school return nears it is becoming clear that she will not be able to cope with attending school but she is anxious about missing out on GCSE education too. Apparently this particular online school is good for high achievers and should be able to support her ambitions. But I would like to hear from someone who has experience of the school.
Any experience or advice greatly appreciated!
