Hi guys, im about to start work in a harris school. Me and my boyfriend want to try for a baby however im so so worried about teachers mat policy.

I know the burgundy book policy but does anyone know if harris offers any enhancements for mat leave at all or if jusylt burgundy book?

Does anyone also know how long you have to work there to recieve enhanced by the time the baby is born.

I had a quick look around for you and I think this is probably devolved to each individual Harris Academy.

Have you checked the website for the academy you'll be working at?

For specifics like qualifying period, you're going to have to ask HR for your academy.

I would assume it wouldn't be more generous than burgundy book in the absence of other info.

Harris, despite "talking the talk", are in my experience not overly generous to their employees!

Thats why I was hoping someone could fill me in if they worked there.

No-one can tell you unless you say which Harris, which you may not want to?
