My daughter is going to sit the entrance assessments for this school at the end of the year. We liked what we saw on an open morning but have only visited twice and know very little of the school. I would love to hear of anyone’s experience with this school? Particularly since going co-ed.

St Gabs has gone co-ed!!!

Back in the 80s it was the school you sent your girls to if you wanted private but they weren't going to get into a superselective like The Abbey in Reading.

Presentation College was the boys equivalent.

My mind is blown that it's co-ed now.

Nowadays it gets excellent results and yes is co-Ed attracting boys who are not so interested in rugby.
My daughter was there till she was 16 leaving with grades 8 and 9 at GCSE. She was also able to pursue acting, singing and dancing which are her real loves, she moved on to professional musical theatre training.

We decided on St Gabriel’s for our daughter for Sep 25 year 7 intake. Every time we have visited or engaged with the school we have had a positive and friendly welcome from all staff and children. Our daughter feels extremely excited about joining the school later this year despite not knowing anyone there or going there.

So very jealous. If I had the funds it would be my first choice. I have been to events there and it has such a nice vibe.
