DS is currently at the nursery of DD's prep school. It was never our intention for him to attend here (DD has high scholarship) but while in nursery it was great to have them both at same place!

Tried to make an appt to see local primary school, couldn't get in there as headmistress busy and had no appts. Had to apply before seeing the school. Got a place in the school went up there and did not like it, overall feel wasn't very good. In fact I was cringing.

How today tried another local school which having spoken to some mums they are very impressed with. However (typically) no available spaces, they had 3 but had 4 late entries (not inc ours). We can still apply though.

If DS doesn't get a place in lovely school what would you do? Put him in local not happy with school and change him if place becomes available?

I don't know what to do..

put his name on the continuing interest list for the school you like - places come up all the time - 4 kids have left my dd's class since starting (she is in year 1) and it is a very good popular school
