Schools around Tetbury

Hello everyone,
is anyone here from around Tetbury? Looking to move in the area and wondering how’s the school situation, both primary and secondary, preferably state. I was looking at older threads but could not find much info on the topic.

Tetbury schools are not great most go private around there
there are a few village schools that are good

Thanks. Could you elaborate please? Are they all bad, even primary ones? What about St Mary’s Primary?
is Malmesbury schools not good?

St Mary’s does not have a great reputation
Malmesbury comprehensive is good
Tetbury looks like it’s wealthy but scratch the surface not so much and the building going up around there is ridiculous

Thank you. I’m actually not looking in Tetbury itself but kind of in between Tetbury and Malmesbury. Any primary schools there you could recommend, please?

I’m a bit out of the loop now my son went to Beaudesert but Crudwell is sweet Rodmarton was good little villages have some good schools. Minchinhampton good Foxmoor a bit far away is outstanding

What are the chances getting into state school outside of direct catchment area? My son is 11 months old atm so I’m not yet overly familiar with how this works…

Some schools have space but who knows what will be the case in 3 years 🤦‍♀️ esp with the prep s hold having vat added
