SEN supply TA

I have a passion for working with SEN. Worked with SEN for a year and I had a job lined up for September and basically with 2-3 weeks before we break up, for reasons out of my control I need to find another job.
I'm tempted to try working as a supply TA as Im quite limited with such little time before Summer and I am seeing so many adverts for SEN supply TAs. Many pros and cons from the reviews.
Does anyone work as a supply TA? Would you recommend if so..?

I did, and eventually got hired permanently. This was years ago where we didn't have many rights being agency workers, I believe it's much better now and your chances of being hired permanently are better.

I did about a month of proper supply work where I went to different schools, but I'd let the agency know that I was looking for a long term placement. I went in for one day as a trial and was there nearly 8 years!

It's good to get your foot in the door somewhere to maybe be offered something permanent.
No pay for holidays, especially over the long summer break.

I’m just starting supply this term after 10 years at my last school. I’m panicking slightly that I’ve not had a call about work but schools in my area only went back last Wednesday . Any tips would be great. I’m not looking for long term. The supply is a bit if a filler to see if I’m done with education and I m lucky I don’t rely on my salary.
