Looking for a nurturing state secondary school near Guildford

We are relocating and my DS is going into year 9 in September. He is dyslexic, has social anxiety and is gifted and talented. I am really keen not to make mistakes when looking for the right kind of school for him. He does need challenging but with lots of kindness and understanding. Does anybody know of a school that might fit and not be oversubscribed, please? I know, I am asking for the moon.

Broadwater is a small school (700) in Goldalming.
Kings is in the centre ish of Guildford.

More House school in Farnham. All the boys there are dyslexic. Fabulous school, very nurturing and a bit like a unicorn in school terms!

More House isn’t a state school I believe.

More House is private.
I’d ring Surrey admissions and find out where has spaces available and start from there. You don’t say which side of Guildford you’re relocating to but be aware that the traffic in and surrounding Guildford is a nightmare in the mornings.

Kings College is a small state school and seems to cater well for children who might need a bit of nurturing. The smaller class sizes are a plus. They also only have 3 lessons a day which allows children to settle and reduces the amount of bustling around school. It doesn't have the best reputation but that seems to mostly be based on its location (it's in a deprived area). Don't let that put you off! It may very well have spaces.
