Nurturing prep schools

Hello,

I’m looking to hear recommendations on nurturing prep schools in the UK (flexible on area). Schools need to go through to 18 (without need for entrance exam). I have a son who is autistic (academic but struggles with busy environments) and I’m looking for a nurturing school which can provide smaller class sizes.

Thanks in advance

You're willing to move anywhere in the UK for a school? What about your friends, family, job, house budget? They're important factors too.

I don't know it personally but Claysmore in Dorset might be worth looking into.

Akeley Wood in Milton Keynes would be perfect for a child with minor ASD.

Bede's in East Sussex sprang to mind, but here's a good list of "all through" schools: https://muddystilettos.co.uk/school-reviews/search/all-through-school/

Look out for words like non-selective, inclusive and strong SEND provision as those will give you clues as to whether there are entrance exams or any selection (or de-selection!) along the way as children move stage to stage.

Jk987 We are fortunate enough to not have to think about house prices or jobs. Our family live abroad, as do most of our friends. Our priority is our children’s education. Do you have any suggestions on schools as per my post?
