Are there any universities which hold open days for secondary school students?

Yes, there's one at Birmingham soon. There will be others elsewhere, of course.

Every university has open days and they’re primarily aimed at sixth form and college students.

Most kids don't start going to open days til Y12, Y11 if there's a number to go to.
There's so much info online about universities (check out YouTube too for students perspective) that you can narrow things down quite a bit first.
