FIL who has a Grandson in Year 9 said he chose Sports Management to take as a GCSE. Surely he means PE?

I've been a teacher for decades and I've never heard of a Sports Management GCSE.

Literally nothing unintentional about that 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's not offensive if it's true. I just googled quickly and can't find any such GCSE. Whereas there is a well-established and perfectly respectable GCSE PE course.

I believe it’s a level 3 BTEC Sport Business & Management but that would be A level equivalent not GCSE.

The level 2 is just BTEC Sports.

Just the tone I read it in maybe? Two hours sleep apparently makes my judgey pants ride, apologies.
