Hi everyone so my daughter left school in S4 from then she has went to a couple of college interviews which has been declined she is now wanting to go back to school to sit her exams she didn’t take . Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated

Scotland presumably?

She left when?
She was declined places at college when?
What has she been doing since?

I can't work out if she dropped out 2 weeks ago or 2 years...

Has she / have you spoken to the school (or schools - wasn't sure whether you meant, the school she left at the end of S4, or just 'back to school' as opposed to 'college), to see whether they will have your DD?

Why did the colleges refuse her application?

I will be speaking with the school yeah . She dropped out of school in s4 . She wasn’t accepted in to college after the interview

Yes Scotland . She left in s4 (last year) and has been to two college interviews in the past 6 months now we’re hoping she can get back in to school to sit the exams she didn’t take

Sorry difficult to understand. She left school at the end of S4 without sitting her NAT5 exams?

Her year group be starting S6 after the summer holidays? So she would be returning to her year group in S6 to sit NAT5 exams? Or do you mean her year group would be starting S5?

I haven’t heard of students returning to the school environment after leaving, I hope the school is supportive with what options she has or can help get her onto a path way to college/apprenticeships.

Yeah sorry so she left school during the s4 NaT5 exams yeah so hoping the school is supportive and lets her re take these .

Sorry, I don't understand the Scottish system.

If this is like in England dropping out of school before GCSEs and expecting to be able to do A levels, being rejected, then asking to redo GCSE year out of age it wouldn't usually be possible. Instead you would need to do a lower level college course whilst getting the English and Maths qualifications, and work up from there.
