Hi everyone,

Our family is relocating from India to Reading this December. My daughter will be entering Year 12 (equivalent to A Levels), and we've applied to Queen Anne's School, Caversham.

I'd love to hear feedback about the school, particularly regarding the teachers, extracurricular activities, pastoral care, and overall sense of community.

P.S. - She won't be boarding.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I think QA is a lovely school. Full of extra curricular activities and excellent facilities. They do push the academic girls and offer support for the girls who need it. One thing I really like about QA is that they offer many opportunities for girls who would possibly be overlooked in bigger schools. These opportunities include fixtures, drama/music performances, maths challenges, Geography quiz competitions. The A levels facilities are very new as well and impressive.

We are in Caversham. Have you considered Abbeys as an option too? It’s an all girls school and has very good reputation too.
