when do your kids go back to school?

firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
my dd`s primary goes back to school on thursday, i was just wondering when others go back?

Ds1 goes back on Wednesday - not that I'm counting the days or anything!

Nursery starts again on Wednesday - hip hip hooray!! Mind you, still got 2 at home so doesn't make a huge difference - except for ds1 who goes because he needs stimulation now after being cooped up with boring old Mummy for too long

This Wednesday, but some of the school here are off for another week or so.

Where are you off to alibubbles ? Snow here is good at the moment but deteriorating fast because it is warmer again. A little more expected overnight tomorrow though.

dd goes back Weds and ds goes back Thursday. I am dreading it as I hate rushing around. One of my new years resolutions is to be more organised in the mornings (and in general) so we'll see how long that lasts

Thursday, wish they'd just waited until the following Monday rather than having them go back for a whole 2 days, seems pointless, but in saying that dd1 is bored already and will be happy to go back to see her friends.

Wed 5th. Both boys at secondary school, was devastated when they broke up Fri 17th - their old primary school was still there until Tues 21 or Wed 22!

I go back on Wednesday 5th (secondary school), as we finished on the Tuesday before Christmas.

DD's nursery reopens on Tuesday (but she doesn't go that day - so Wednesday for her too).

BH she is really looking forward to it, I have her new uniform and she keeps saying about how she is going to C's (ds) school. She is really excited!!

Thursday 6th here - finished on Thursday 16th Dec.

Really will need to get our a*s into gear on Thursday as we've not been getting up until nearly 9am, and getting dressed around 10.30am

The prep school I pick up from finished on the 12th and don't go bak until the 10th. The reception and year one class don't go back until the 17th as there is selection going on for new pupils!

LIZS I am going to Morzine, been every Christmas for the the last 4, and away in Canada ( Whistler) for the 6 previous to that but because DS is off to Canada for 3 months to train as a ski instructor and DD is at Uni in Paris and my sister is off to live in Saudi again, her son is off to America to do his commercial pilots training, we had a lovely family Christmas, first time in 10 years!
