OCR maths paper 1 yesterday

So- got it wrong yesterday!

Was the OCR maths paper 1 any harder than usual?

My school found it hard.

However I'm now wondering if switching exam boards was also a bad idea. They did edexcel in year 10.

Teachers any thoughts on the OCR maths paper? And also on switching exam boards to ocr midstream?

A hard paper provides the advantage of lower grade boundaries, so I wouldn't worry too much about this.

The only issue I see that could be a problem is changing exam boards. You have an advantage with Edexcel by being familiar with how they present their questions, which you lose when changing the exam boards.

Can any maths teachers let us know what they thought of the ocr maths paper?

Yes changing exams boards may not be a good thing!
