Looking for opinions on Ryde school vs The Priory please?

The Priory is much more recent than Ryde so I don't have any experience or knowledge of it so can't comment.

I have some historical experience of Ryde School (co-ed / day and boarding) which has been running a lot longer. Lots of happy children, high expectations.

It has a good reputation for being both academic and good at extra curricular (music, sport etc). In my opinion it is the best school on the Island. It was originally a boys school but converted to co-ed a long time ago and seems to be a good experience for both boys and girls. Ryde also has good results for university / Oxbridge. Lots of overseas students (boarding) who seem to integrate well. Unusually, they offer both IB and A Level so lots of choice too.
