Old O level timetables

So now GCSEs are spread over five weeks
and they have 20 exams or so.

Can't remember what the o level timetables were?

I thought we had about two weeks of exams.
Maybe three weeks and about 12 exams
Lots of 3 hour papers.

Does anyone else remember what the old o level timetable was like?

I don't think O levels had lots of 3hr papers. I looked up my old papers a few years back (for the thread you bumped). 2 or 2.5 was more common.
People did fewer subjects so they could be a bit more compressed.
Also they were aimed at more able so again could be more compressed.

13 exams now just for core GCSEs.
