List for University- HELP

My little brother has got Into university for September 🥺
I am currently trying to put a list together of everything he will need, so please throw everything you possibly can at me for things he will need!

Do you know which uni, and which accommodation because they all have different facilities. Also will he be self- catering?

The answer is less than you think. Crockery for one plus a second mug, pan, frying pan. Bed linen, quilt, pillow, blanket (unless in notoriously hot halls of residence). A small rug/mat cheers a dull room. Blu tack. Laundry bag. Something for at least one wall eg. photos, poster, banner. Plant. Lamp. Laptop if not already got one. Small first aid bag. I don't think DS took anything else. The room becomes personalised by their clothes, books etc and you can't take electricals like mini fridge or kettle in your room.

@Henryhover it’s highly likely he’ll receive a complete list of everything necessary once his accommodation is confirmed. And be able to view countless YouTube videos made by students in that exact accommodation.

Until then you really won’t know if he’ll need a single or double duvet cover, his own toaster or saucepans, etc, etc. Every house or student block in every university presents different requirements, so don’t buy too much too soon!
