Is there a sort of endowment scheme you can save into specifically for school fees for the future?

There are lots of schemes and plans. Not sure how cost effective they are.

We just pay out of salary, with the option to add to our mortgage.

School fees plans are ok if you have plenty of money that you can save and several years before you need it. I just save money from my salary - put it in the building society - and pay up termly.

Use your ISA allowance?

yes, I had thought about that, but wondered if there was some sort of endowment option too. I know the ISA rules are changing next week. we don't have loads of money, and I am thinking about 5 years away, so just exploring the options. Thanks for your help.
