Hello! Do any mums on here have children that attend ICC?? My son is starting next month and my twins in September! Would love to chat! X

I don't but 2 of my nieces went there and both of them absolutely loved it and came out with great results and lots of friends. I hope your DCs will be really happy there Smile

Thank you so much! We don’t know anyone so feels very odd starting without any familiar faces of friends! Xxx

If you're keen on discipline and/or sport it's a great school. They like enforcing rules with draconian punishments, and are creating a load of stressed kids.

If your child is sporty, they will get treated specially. If you.can afford school trips in 4 figures (including some of their dubious "enrichment week" offerings), you'll be fine.

There's a different Facebook group to the one mentioned above which arose from changes introduced in Sept 2023 with no notice. 10 seconds late to a lesson and the punishment was to miss day's lessons. Nuts. So the kids who want to miss lessons have an incentive to misbehave, the ones who don't want to miss them fall behind with their work. Weird messaging.

They pay lip service to "mental health" but disregard it completely. This school's discipline policy and results trounce everything, including wellbeing, care and empathy.
.
A heartless school, run by mostly robots with the odd glimmer of humanity (though the latter usually leave). 😔

goodness how sad to read this about a school where my DNs were so happy only a few years ago @pugeot have they recently had a change of head?

@Happypainter you will have a least one there by now. I hope its going alright for them.
