BTEC ?

Anyone had a child do BTEC SportsScience Level 3 ?

Is it enough or does DS need to choose an additional subject to do as well ?

I am clueless as we only had Alevels in my day ( old Mum)

School/college should help with this but as far as I know it's the equivalent of three A Levels.

It depends on the qualification offered.

Level 3 Extended Diploma is 3 A levels equivalent.
Level 3 Diploma is 2 A levels equivalent.
Level 3 Certificate is 1 A level equivalent.

At a vocational college they would normally be offering the Extended Diploma.
At a school or mixed college they may offer one of the smaller qualifications and expect another subject or 2 alongside.

(This is generic advice, I don't know anything specific about Sport Science)

Also NB many Level 3 BTECs are stopping being replaced by T levels. Though presumably this isn't as you wouldn't be asking if it was.
