Has anyone got any recent first hand experience of Bromsgrove School?

I’m considering putting DC down to start pre-prep but would like to hear any information people may have regarding pre-prep, prep and senior schools as I don’t know others who have used the schools.

I have 3 children there.
well known for its sport it caters very well for sporty children and really pushes them to become the best they can. That said, they also do very well with the arts.
the facilities and campus are beautiful and they really attract you in.
Some of the teaching is not the best and their pedagogy is rather outdated but mine are very happy there and the pastoral side is excellent.

@France8857 thank you for your comments.

We have visited twice and had a one to one with the Headmaster so have a fairly good idea of the facilities.

I know the sports side is strong there as my DH attended a rival school and fondly recalls the cricket and rugby matches with them.

When you say some of the teaching is not the best is that sporadic issues relating to staff turnover or something more fundamental?

Finally have they given any insight into the likely fees impact if VAT is introduced?
