Fowey River Academy secondary school

Hello! My wife and I are looking really seriously at a move to Fowey as we have connections to the place and friends around. Our boys are 6 and 3. I see that the schools aren't rated too well but I wanted to know if anyone has any recent first hand experience / local knowledge of Fowey Academy. Is it improving? I'm mainly concerned with bullying and atmosphere etc as I feel that grades are what they are but the experience is everything.

Any advice much appreciated :-)

Fowey River Academy isn't improving - it has had a number of monitoring visits since 2017 and it still hasn't got out of 'needs improvement' My children don't go to Fowey but did go to the headteachers previous school - he doesn't have the skills to improve a school or stamp out bullying if that's the issue.
