Hi my child is in year 13 & doing A levels she’s just recently had her mocks
We are thinking about a few days away during the Feb half term
would this be advisable?
Any advice please

Yes this is fine, it's a long haul until they start and then finish, have you seen her exam timetable?

The exam time table hasn’t been released as yet
I’m just wondering if there will be a lot of homework

Does your child do a lot of subjects which include course work? This can be a very busy time for people doing Art or Music, etc.

We didn’t realise this and went skiing, and ended up coming home early as our daughter was so stressed about it.

If it’s mostly exams, and course work is pretty much in hand, it’s probably a nice time to go away, but make sure they have some clear days for schoolwork during the break.

Is there any reason she can't do some homework on holiday if necessary?

I wouldn't but we have mocks for two weeks immediately after half-term so DD will be revising.
