Safeguarding Worry Trigger Warning

Wondered if there were any safeguarding leads here who might be able to help.

Have a really difficult situation right now. DD 12 does not want to see ex and seems the reason is because of physical abuse and touching her.

All reported to police. DD then repeated this at school with a teacher so it had to go to social services as a report.

Obviously not told ex a thing about what DD said; but now he is contacting the school for information and wants to speak to the safeguarding lead.

I am worried that the safeguarding lead will have to say what DD said at school to ex. Or that he will cause a scene in a place that DD loves as a safe place. She is frightened he will come and take her away.

Ex lies a lot. Very manipulative and filled the wrong paperwork at school to make him the resident parent and changed DD's name on registration. I only found this out before the weekend.

Police helpful and we are taking one day at s time. But really worried for what obligations the school has here; can they keep the allegations confidential?

Hi. It is very unlikely the DSL will divulge such information to your ex. Give them a call to reassure. If an investigation is pending, you are within your rights to have him taken off as a point of contact unless he is down as primary contact? All of this needs to be sorted and clarified with the school. They can also ban him from the school site if he is a risk.

Thanks. I have been out of my mind with worry on this. Spoke to police who were great but so much seems to be that these places don't talk to each like schools and SS so you have to do it.
