Feedback on Heathside School Hampstead

Hello!
I am considering Heathside School in Hampstead for my DS in Year 4. We recently visited the school and liked the ethos and the new Head Teacher. I would be grateful for any feedback about the school from parents whose children currently attend or previously attended the school.
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi! I can attest that My DS has been at Heathside for a few years and has been very happy since the start. I honestly cannot recommend a better school. I have visited all the renowned schools in Hampstead, St J Wood and Highgate and of course they all have their positives and negatives. Heathside however is so amazing because they don’t use the cookie cutter approach, they really cater to the child’s growth needs (academically, emotionally, physically, musically, etc) the attention and care these children get is incredible; the curriculum is thought-out thoroughly as to give the children all the tools they need both academically and socially; they have FOREST school, pretty much giving their legs all the room in the world to roam around and enjoy the fresh Heath air whilst learning about nature and life. This school is a gem. The teachers are the BEST so lovely and amazing, they genuinely care about the children; headmistress is always professional and ready to listen/help/give as she understands that every child has a specific type of need.

I asked my son why he likes Heathside and he said, and I quote: “ It’s exceptional because it’s kind.”
Overall A+

That feels like something very intrusive and totally inappropriate to be posting on a public forum. Far far too personal.

Oh! Okay sorry & thanks

Hi,

does anybody know why the newly Dukes appointed headmaster is again leaving heathside this year?

Our child loves this school. Such a happy school and our child looks forward to going to school every day which never did at previous school. The teachers are so lovely and the school’s approach is so holistic which has reignited our child’s interest in leaning again.

Due to personal family matter. Hope that helps answer your question?😊
