Can someone tell me about pre preschools?? I live in Northern Ireland and although ive heard about this, i cant find any information! My DD was born 7th July 21 and the cut date (from what i can see on EA website) for preschool entry for Sept '24 is 1st July 21 so she will miss out by a few days. My question is are pre Preschools a different thing to just a Preschool or are they the same and a younger child can get in if they arent over subscribed and have spaces available? In NI there is no help with childcare costs at all (if both parents work!) so it would really cut down on childcare costs if we could get her into a funded pre preschool place!
