Woodbridge school V Fram college

Hello,
We are currently considering between Woodbridge school and fram college for our prep aged children. I just wondered if anyone had any recent experience of either school and how they find them.

We have heard good things about both and they both seemed lovely when we visited so it would be great to hear from anyone who has actual first hand experience of either - positive or negative!

Thanks so much!

Between the two, Fram (Brandeston). But I loathe Woodbridge😏
What did you think of them?

I didn't really answer your question, did I? They're def. in the same league and both fine. I would take the school run into consideration. Between the two I think Fram is more caring and also more fun.
It really depends what you're looking for. I've experience of both and would never recommend Woodbridge for various reasons. (Nothing sinister.)

Thank you and it's good to hear your thoughts!! I feel so far that Woodbridge is maybe more on the academic side and Fram is more of an all rounder. I haven't heard any negative on Woodbridge so it's interesting you haven't had the best experience although the opinions I have had are from those who were there several years ago which is why I was hoping for some views from those who have had experience recently.
Thanks so much

We love Wodbridge Prep! There’s been a few recent joiners from Fram for various reasons. Woodbridge have had some great academic success lately but sports are increasingly strong with lots of prizes brought home from various IAPS events in the last couple of years. Drama department is absolutely amazing! Senior music department not the strongest but improving under new leadership.

Woodbridge numbers are creeping up, but it does mean they can offer more options and field more teams in sports events. Meaning your child is much more likely to get opportunity to play. (Fram prep have arranged fixtures and then canx on the day due to low numbers.)

At both schools you need to be aware of the OF/OW clique - many of whom will try to make it appear they’re very influential 🙄 but really aren’t!
