Couldn't see a support thread for 2023 so thought I'd start one as the assessments draw nearer.

DS is sitting for WUS, City and a couple of the local selective schools (UCS, Highgate, Wetherby). Decided against St Paul's due to distance.

Hi 🙋🏼‍♀️, how is the prep going? DS was doing Bond books with me every once in a while and while we did sign up to Atom Learning, he's not really utilising it. I feel he's reached a stage of prep fatigue. But on the plus side, he seems quite relaxed and not stressed out.

Has anyone heard back from WUS?

yes my son had second step in St Paul’s and tomorrow WUS. Stressful process..

How he found the exam? My son said math was really challenging

My DS sat the WUS exam on Saturday and found Maths challenging as well. Keeping fingers crossed but not very hopeful.

Any idea how many DCs sat the exam? I remember reading 100ish somewhere but seemed more assuming they had more than one slot and my DS's one had about 70..

He found St Paul’s math paper harder than WUS, today we had invitation for the interview from ast Paul’s

Admissions said 90 kids sat for the exam

Hello - anyone whose DS appeared for the WUS interview? Appreciate any insights on how it went.. the school says a lot about it being a 'fit' interview but many of the older threads talk about maths puzzles, poetry comprehension etc. Thanks in advance!

My son had his interview today, it was general interview questions, what are your hobbies, which schools did you apply for , sports etc.. and they gave him a poem and ask couple of questions about the poem. It took approximately 15-20 min. How is your DS’s experience? @Ssubra
