Putney High occasional entry: Y4 and Y6

My daughters have upcoming assessments in November for occasional entry to PHS for Y4/Y6. They’re currently in Years 3 and 5.

Any idea what they’ll be tested on and how best to prepare them? DD1 has a tutor but has only done a handful of sessions. Reasoning is my concern with her as she doesn’t do this at school and will fall down if up against girls from prep school backgrounds. Her Reading is above average within her cohort and her Maths/Writing are well above.

Youngest is very very strong at English (better than her sister at the same age) but Maths is a high average. She can really pull it out the bag in assessments but can also bomb if faced with a question she can’t do. She doesn’t have a tutor though wondering if we should book 3-4 sessions for her before the assessment, just so she goes in with confidence.

I’m not holding out much hope as the competition is ferocious but thought it was worth a crack ahead of the 11+ lottery….

TIA.
