Bourne Grammar school

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me about their experience of Bourne Grammar school and life living in Bourne please?

I'm spinning in research! DS has passed the 11+ but we need to relocate to Bourne to get him in. DD is only 2 years younger and I like the fact it's a mixed school over single sex schools.

Any experience to offer?

Op I’m from south Lincs (Spalding not Bourne) and would hesitate to recommend tbh.

Tho where do you live now? If in Bourne area already then no worries. Or if rural and like it I guess.

I have no recent experience of Bourne GS and I am sure it’s a great educational environment (as a grammar school it should be) but I am beyond glad we brought our dc up in a city with all it offers (even my little city). I had a really tough time as a teen in S lincs and I am not aware (from recent ish visits) that things are much better.
